DRS made the trip to Hillel on Friday Afternoon as the stage was set for a semi Final Varsity game.

Hillel came out swinging early as they loaded the bases with 2 outs in the bottom of the First . Ikey “Mr Breeze” Betesh came up big with a huge 2 RBI single to give Hillel the early 2-0 lead. 

Over the next 6 innings DRS pitcher Benny Miller settled in nice and held Hillel in check the rest of the way . However it was Michael Ancona with year another playoff shutout 4 hitter to lead Hillel to victory . David “DC” Cohen had a banner day at the plate going 3-3 .

Hillel will now face the winner of YDE-Darchei in the next Round for the championship .
